Swans in the Moonlight
Oil on cradled board 24” x 30” The Trumpeter Swans migrate through our region of the Pacific Northwest every winter. One evening, my husband phoned my as he was driving in the country and told me of a large flock of swans in a field. I arrived with my camera just as the coming out. The swans live in family groups and this painting was from photos as I watched the swans fly in tandem. It is a beautiful memory.
